Massaman curry is a delicious beef and potato curry slowly cooked in a Thai style sauce.


1/3 jar paste serves 4-6 people.


Ingredients: garlic, chilli, ginger, tamarind, fish extract (crustacea), onion herbs, spices, brown sugar, salt, lime juice



To make Beef Massaman  serves 4-6 / cooking time 1½ hr


1/3 jar (100g) Massaman curry paste, 700g diced beef, 2tb vegetable oil, 400ml coconut milk, ½ cup water, 1 large potato diced


Heat oil in a non stick pan.  Cook beef for 5 minutes then add curry paste.  Cook another few minutes. Add water and ½ the coconut milk.  Reduce heat and simmer for 1 ½ hours, adding remaining liquids as needed.  Add potato in last 30 minutes of cooking.  Curry is ready when meat is tender and sauce has reduced.
