A traditional Indian curry made with lots of spices and chilli to give it a good amount of heat.

 

Ingredients: garlic, ginger, herbs, spices, onion powder, salt, chilli, tomato extract, lemon

 

300g / 12 serves, Recipe included on back of label, GLUTEN FREE, Long shelf life, Refrigerate after opening. 

 

RECIPE - To make Beef Madras  serves 4-6 / cooking time 1½ hr

 

1/3  jar (100g) Madras Paste, 700g diced beef (chuck), 2 tbsp oil, 250ml coconut milk, 1½ cup water, cooked diced pumpkin and potato (optional)

 

Heat oil over medium heat and add beef.  Cook for 5 minutes then add the paste. Cook another few minutes then add ½ the water and gradually add the coconut milk.  Simmer for 1 hour until sauce has thickened adding more water as needed.  Add the cooked pumpkin and potato in the last 10 minutes.
